Job summary

Frontline Insurance is seeking a Market Research Analyst to lead market research projects across state-level insurance markets, competitive dynamics, and regulatory trends. You will manage data from NAIC, AM Best, S&P Global, and state departments, and collaborate with underwriting, product, actuarial, and business development teams.

You will present findings to executives with clear visuals and narratives, driving strategic insights and cross-functional alignment in a dynamic insurance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis within the insurance industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of insurance financials, market structures, and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with ability to distill complex data into executive-level insights.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a P&C insurance environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management, or related field; Master’s degree or professional designation (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred.
• Experience with public datasets such as NAIC, AM Best, U.S. Census, and S&P Global.
• Proven track record of influencing strategic decisions through research and analysis.
• Experience in a strategy, product, actuarial, or business development function within a P&C insurance organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive market research projects focused on state-level insurance markets, competitive dynamics, and regulatory & financial trends.
• Oversee the collection, validation, and interpretation of data from sources such as NAIC, AM Best, S&P Global, AM Best, and state Departments of Insurance.
• Manage and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to monitor market shifts and competitor performance.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative research findings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, product, actuarial, and business development teams to align research efforts with business priorities.
• Present findings to executive stakeholders through clear, compelling visualizations and narratives.
