Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Market Operations Analyst to support Small Business Banking teams with risk management and operational efficiency.

You will work with bankers and business leaders to ensure compliance, drive process improvements, and resolve complex issues across multiple lines of business. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least four years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically four or more years of related experience.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience in Small Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational support partner for Small Business Banking teams within an assigned market or region.
• Consult with business partners on risk management practices, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Make independent, risk-based decisions regarding operational issues and escalated situations.
• Investigate and assist in resolving complex customer complaints and operational concerns.
• Partner with regional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistent execution of policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver training, onboarding support, presentations, and communication materials.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, testing plans, and project tracking tools to support operational initiatives.
