Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, part-time Customer Service Attendant to join our team in Fort Wayne. You will help receive deliveries, stock and merchandise displays, and ensure products are neatly presented and well stocked.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, accuracy in calculations, and adherence to food safety standards. Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and with others in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant, Part-Time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.
