Job description

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As Market Manager for Texas Regional Accounts, you will independently lead approximately 25 regional chain account groups, primarily in Dallas with additional accounts in Austin. You will own customer strategy, RFP development, and execution while building relationships that grow Bacardi's business.

About You

You are a strategic, self-directed account leader who turns consumer and market insights into persuasive customer solutions and measurable business results.

You will serve as Bacardi's key contact for regional chain buyers and distributor partners, developing trusted relationships and pursuing high-impact opportunities across Dallas and Austin.

You are engaging, organized, analytical, and confident, combining commercial acumen with strong relationship-building and presentation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Manage approximately 25 regional chain account groups, primarily based in Dallas, including approximately five account groups based in Austin.
  • Serve as the primary owner of these regional accounts, working independently without direct reports or dedicated Bacardi Account Manager support.
  • Own the RFP process end to end, including gathering customer and market insights, developing proposals and business plans, recommending brands and cocktail programs, and presenting compelling solutions to key decision-makers.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with regional chain customers and centralized buyers, creating customer strategies and plans that deliver mutually beneficial results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Bacardi resources and distributor partners to maximize performance, grow volume, and develop sustainable business opportunities across the account universe.
  • Manage the budget effectively and make thoughtful financial decisions that improve profitability, supported by a strong understanding of retail finances, pricing, and logistics.
  • Provide timely market, customer, and competitive updates to the commercial team, including changing field conditions that may affect volume or account performance.
  • Partner with distributors, Advocacy Managers, Brand Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to execute account strategies and programs.
  • Track overall account performance, including rate-of-sale drivers, distribution points, features, menu and cocktail placements, activations, executions, and program compliance.
  • Travel to Austin approximately once per quarter, or more frequently as business needs require, to pursue buyer meetings and support assigned accounts. You will be based in Dallas, Texas.
SKILLS

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

  • Demonstrated experience leading RFPs and translating customer, consumer, and market insights into persuasive proposals, account decks, and business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management skills, with the ability to manage infrequent but high-impact customer selling opportunities.
  • An influential communicator and engaging relationship builder who can present confidently to executives, customers, distributors, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in yDrink is strongly preferred, with the ability to use account- and market-level data to identify opportunities, evaluate brand performance, and strengthen proposals.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to independently build polished, insight-led RFPs and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize a complex account portfolio, and proactively secure meetings and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including regular travel between Dallas and Austin.
