Job summary

McKinstry in Atlanta is seeking a senior sales/market leader to build and own the market strategy for Technical Services Integrated Solutions, focusing on higher education and healthcare.

You will manage large contracts, lead high‑performing teams, conduct SWOT analyses, and strengthen relationships with industry leaders while guiding clients through energy‑efficiency financing and contracting processes.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of Built Environment experience and knowledge of building infrastructure systems.
  • Experience with financial/performance contracting and leading sales/marketing.
  • Ability to position a solution in the marketplace and build a team.
  • Establishing relationships with industry leaders and associations.
  • Technical aptitude and a C‑suite seller DNA; owned business segment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide clients through energy efficiency project financing and contracting processes.
  • Utilize McKinstry’s tools and processes to support customer‑relationship strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 10‑15 years of Built Environment experience. Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and critical facilities (Higher Education and/or Healthcare) is required.
  • Financial/performance contracting experience, including previous leadership, sales, and marketing with an energy services or related organization, with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to a project implementation team.
  • Demonstrated experience positioning a solution in the marketplace and building a team to execute strategy.
  • Established relationships with industry leaders, associations, and organizations in regional or vertical markets that align with McKinstry business goals.
  • Technical aptitude with delivery of programs and a C‑suite seller DNA. Has “owned” their business segment and demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent business experience is required. Energy/ESCO experience is a plus.
