Job Description
About the role

As a Market Leader, you will build long-standing, positive relationships with intermediary clients that improve long‑term holdings of Invesco products and services. Serving as the face of Invesco, you will be an integral part of fostering the client journey with a consultative, client‑first approach to identify needs and get results. Territory coverage is Washington & Alaska.

Responsibilities
  • Develop differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet share
  • Approach all interactions as a consultant, starting with client needs and optimally using internal resources needed to meet those needs, including delivering insight‑based education, mentoring, and portfolio construction consultations
  • Develop and complete a data‑driven client segmentation strategy
  • Deliver product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via telephone, WebEx, office visits, cluster meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Build and implement strategic travel rotation to cover smaller boutique firms across the country and clients in non‑metropolitan areas
  • Partner with the Division Sales Manager to create and implement a territory sales plan which is aligned with the overarching division plan
Requirements
  • Series 7 and 63 required
  • CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus
  • Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Five or more years of sales experience in marketing investment products to financial advisors
  • Technical investment expertise including outstanding knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors
  • Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on meeting needs coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • A digital and data‑driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience
  • A growth mindset with a business‑owner mentality

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 per year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
