Job summary

RHI Magnesita N.V. is seeking a Summer 2027 Market Intelligence Intern to support market research and analytics across North America's steel and industrial markets.

This fully remote role collaborates with commercial and sales leaders to uncover insights that drive growth. You will gain hands-on experience translating data into strategic insights, building dashboards, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support market research projects focused on steel, manufacturing, and broader industrial market trends.
• Analyze internal and external data sources to identify opportunities, competitive insights, and market developments.
• Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and market intelligence summaries using Excel and Power BI.
• Partner with commercial and sales teams to organize customer and market feedback into insights.
• Participate in market deep dives and strategic projects supporting growth initiatives across key business segments.
• Explore emerging AI-enabled analytics tools to improve how business intelligence is gathered and shared.
• Help maintain data quality and accuracy across multiple sources and reporting platforms.
• Gain exposure to customer operations, commercial strategy, and executive decision-making processes.

Are you curious about how data, market trends, and customer insights shape business strategy? As a Summer 2027 Market Intelligence Intern, you'll work alongside our commercial and sales leaders to help uncover insights that drive growth across North America's steel and industrial markets. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, learn how industrial markets operate, and contribute to projects that help transform data into actionable business intelligence. This is a fully remote, paidinternship with opportunities to travel for customer and business exposure.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Interest in market intelligence, business strategy, sales analytics, AI, or commercial decision-making.
• Effective communication skills and ability to present findings clearly to various audiences.
• Strong curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Previous internship, project work, or coursework involving data analysis is beneficial but not required.
