Job summary

Hy-Vee Papillion Market Grille Clerk is a part-time position located in Papillion, NE. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare and garnish items, and ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout your shift.

You will support a fast-paced kitchen environment, manage the register, and assist with stocking and replenishment while working as part of a team to deliver great service to every guest.

Qualifications

• Six months or less of similar or related work experience, prior food service experience is a plus.
• No formal education requirement; training provided to succeed in the role.
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts; comfortable working around heat and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter and assist with orders.
• Take product orders by phone or in person and ensure timely processing.
• Review daily orders and replenish product as needed to maintain stock.
• Handle food safely and maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout the shift.
• Operate the department register, process payments, and manage invoices as needed.
• Work with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction and support store operations.
