Job summary

HealthTrust Supply Chain in Austin, TX, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Market Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead multiple facilities' supply chain performance and oversee warehousing and distribution as needed.

The role drives standardization programs, P&L management, risk mitigation, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize product use and cost efficiency across the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or Finance.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ hospital management experience.
• Multi-facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Supply Chain activities for market facilities.
• Manage the profit and loss of the Supply Chain operations for market facilities.
• Execute the infrastructure project plan for the facility, including standardization programs and EDI.
• Facilitate market-based purchasing projects at the facility.
• Implement and operate the plan for all point of use systems.
• Coordinate, manage, and evaluate the facility Supply Chain director or manager.
• Drive supply improvement initiatives (SII) to succeed within the market.
• Standardize products and optimize supply utilization with clinicians within market.
• Manage market implementation plan, identify risks, and monitor resources.
• Execute the Supply Chain Performance Measurement plan and report results.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Market Director of Supply Chain Operations, you will lead, implement, measure, and direct all supply chain operations within multiple facilities. You may also provide operational direction and oversight for warehousing and distribution as well as any other CSC/CDC specific activities assigned by the CSC CEO or SCO.

What you will do in this role:

• Lead and manage Supply Chain activities for market facilities.
• Manage the profit and loss of the Supply Chain operations for market facilities.
• Execute the infrastructure project plan for the facility. This includes the implementation of the standardization programs for all supply chain functions, SMART cleanup, master file standardization, online requisitioning, and EDI.
• Facilitate the implementation of market based purchasing projects at the facility.
• Execute the implementation and operational plan for all of the point of use systems.
• Coordinate, manage, and evaluate the facility Supply Chain director or manager.
• Coordinate and drive efforts to enable supply improvement initiatives (SII) to succeed within the market.
• Facilitate the standardization of products and optimize supply utilization through effective collaboration with physicians and clinicians within market.
• Manage the market implementation plan, identify and mitigate risks and monitor resource allocations to ensure successful execution of plan.
• Execute the Supply Chain Performance Measurement plan in the market and report these results to the Supply Chain Officer in an accurate and timely manner.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or Finance is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• You must have a minimum of 3 years’ hospital management experience.
• Multi-facility experience is preferred.
