  • Concept and appear in market- and styling-driven video that feels smart, natural, visually engaging, and unmistakably ELLE Decor.

  • Own market content from idea to execution, shaping everything from captions and display copy to columns, trend stories, product roundups, and other market-driven editorial, including turning SEO insights into engaging stories and social-first ideas.

  • Oversee ELLE Decor’s Market Assistant in managing product call‑ins and image coordination, and collaborate with the visuals team on photoshoots as needed, including styling.

  • Build and maintain relationships with designers, brands, publicists, and other industry insiders, and attend trade shows and market appointments to identify what’s new, what’s next, and what’s worth the audience’s attention.

  • Collaborate across the business, working closely with Ad Sales and advertising partners to develop compelling, sellable market content while ensuring products and partners are accurately represented and credited.

  • Bring a sharp visual point of view to the brand through thoughtful, confident choices about products, imagery, styling, and storytelling across every platform.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • Strong relationships across the design industry, including brands, designers, publicists, and other key contacts.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate expertise into compelling editorial across platforms.

  • Experience creating or participating in compelling social and video content, ideally with a natural and engaging on‑camera presence.

  • Experience with and enthusiasm for styling photo and video shoots preferred, along with strong visual judgment and an intuitive understanding of what resonates with the ELLE Decor audience.

  • Curiosity, energy, confidence, and the ability to spot a story—or a great product—before everyone else does.
