We are seeking a Market Director, Business Development, to join our Central Mountain Complex team. This key role focuses on driving growth and expanding business development in a designated territory. The position is remote within the Central Mountain Complex (Texas) Territory.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a recruiting pipeline within a specified territory.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Track and maintain notes on pipeline activities.
  • Communicate the Equitable Advisor Value Proposition effectively to potential recruits and partners.
  • Assess advisor practices for portability and compliance with standards.
  • Create a high-quality, multi-sourced lead flow and maintain a qualified candidate pipeline.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships between HQ and field leaders.
  • Stay informed on market trends and the competitive landscape through industry knowledge.

The base salary for this role is $150,000, with eligibility for variable compensation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services or wealth management.
  • Deep understanding of advisor practice management.
  • Expertise in financial products and client solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 65 registrations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
