Meet the Team

Core to the health and growth of Millennium’s business, the Information Technology organization develops flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems that support a dynamic, multi-manager platform. The global Market Connectivity team builds and maintains front-office trading solutions, partnering with brokers, exchanges, ECNs, and third-party platforms across asset classes and regions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the onboarding of external trading teams, integrating third-party trading systems into the Millennium ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain front-office market connectivity and trading solutions.
• Partner with brokers, exchanges, ECNs, and third-party platform providers to support reliable integration and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, providing Level 3 support for trading systems.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver seamless connectivity across asset classes and regions.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of Java development experience, including multithreaded application development.
• 3+ years of C++ development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• 5+ years of experience within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of FIX protocols, including FIX 4.2 through FIX 5.0.
• Extensive Linux development experience and working knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast networking protocols.
• Strong understanding of market structure across equities, futures, options, and FX products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of binary trading protocols is a plus.

Salary Range

Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $175,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
