As part of our Research team, you will help us understand how artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and new business models are reshaping the competitive landscape across Manufacturing, AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations), and Media and Entertainment.
This is an experienced individual contributor role on a small, highly collaborative team. You will support market and competitive intelligence work across Autodesk Research while independently leading selected projects and workstreams. Competitive intelligence is a team effort, and you will need to move comfortably between leading, contributing, and supporting depending on the needs of each project.
You will help Research teams understand the markets they are working in, turn complex information into clear recommendations, and improve the systems and processes that allow the team to take on more work. You will use AI and automation tools to work more efficiently while applying judgment about when deeper analysis, validation, or human expertise is needed.
Location: We support hybrid work, and you work near our Boston, Massachusetts, Toronto, Canada, or San Francisco, CA offices. This role follows East Coast hours.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $83,000 and $148,830. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
