Key Responsibilities
- Provide deep insight and understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
- Engage and challenge senior domain stakeholders with commercial and provocative perspectives, preparing insightful analysis on trends impacting EY and its clients.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Utilize AI tools and technologies to enhance data analysis and insights generation.
- Develop engaging narratives and presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate agility in adapting to changing market conditions and internal client needs.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Exhibit executive presence in interactions with senior leadership and clients.
- Perform quantitative analysis to support strategic recommendations.
- Create visually appealing data visualizations to present insights clearly and effectively.
- Solve complex problems through innovative thinking and a proactive approach.
- Develop insights beyond publicly available information, leveraging EY's proprietary knowledge and interacting with colleagues, clients, and external networks.
- Embrace a culture of learning, actively seeking out new knowledge, tools, and industry trends to enhance personal and team capabilities.
Supervision Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects, working across service lines and geographies.
- Review work of junior analysts and research partners.
- May serve as counsellor or manager for other analysts.

- Demonstrated agility and speed in delivering high-quality insights under pressure, identifying the “so what” not just the “what.”
- Primary research, interview, and elicitation skills.
- Understanding of competitive intelligence methods and frameworks.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI applications and data analysis tools, with a keen interest in exploring new technologies.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write with clarity, concision, and incision.
- Outstanding executive-level presentation skills and ability to interface with senior EY leadership.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multi-cultural, and virtual environment.
- Ability to build a network of contacts to shape points of view.
- Ownership of customized projects with high autonomy, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically, fueled by a proactive curiosity to explore all angles.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Job Requirements
- Education
- University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification an advantage.
- Experience
- Proven experience in market research, competitive analysis, or a related field; e.g., 10 – 12 years’ experience in strategy, business analysis, consulting, industry research, management consulting, or business performance.
Other Requirements
- Occasional travel, both domestic and international.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range in all geographic locations in the US is $126,800 to $244,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,100 to $277,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

- Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
