Job summary

Olympus Corporation is seeking a Data Scientist for Advanced Market Analytics & Modeling. You will design driver-based market models, forecast markets, and segment using AI techniques. Lead scalable analytics using internal and external data to support business strategy, KPI measurement, and product launches.

You will collaborate across Market Intelligence & Analytics to standardize processes, translate business needs into analytics, and provide actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, analytics, mathematics, engineering, or related disciplines. Advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or equivalent area; healthcare, medical device, or life sciences preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years designing, implementing, and interpreting statistical analyses including forecasting and segmentation.
• Minimum of 5 years project management leading data projects cross-functionally.
• Experience with Python or R and enterprise data science platforms.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business questions into actionable data queries and advanced analytical solutions.
• Lead development of driver-based market models, forecasting, and segmentation using scalable data science techniques.
• Develop analytics for global market models, KPI dashboards, and epidemiology analytics.
• Create scalable analytics using external and internal data assets across business units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize analytics processes and deliver insights.
