neko-health is seeking a Market Activation Lead for Washington, D.C., to own local growth, activation strategy, and brand presence. This role focuses on building relationships with members, influencers, partners, and the wider community to support bookings and retention goals.

You will lead local growth initiatives, coordinate events and partnerships, and ensure the clinic delivers a standout local experience while aligning with clinical, operations, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in community management, marketing, events, and/or partnerships.
• Strong existing network within the Washington, D.C. community, including influencers and local partners.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
• Commercially minded with strong organizational skills.
• Passion for startups and community-building in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish neko-health as a visible presence in Washington, D.C. through local awareness and community engagement.
• Build and maintain a network of local influencers, partners, and stakeholders to drive referrals.
• Deliver a consistent pipeline of bookings by leading local growth initiatives and optimizing awareness-to-appointment conversion.
• Launch and run events, activations, and partnerships to keep the clinic top of mind and drive bookings.
• Develop internal processes with clinical, operations, and marketing teams for alignment and execution excellence.
• Establish reporting and insights into local performance, including bookings, retention, and engagement metrics.
• Build a recognizable local brand presence that drives trust and demand in the DC market.

Role Purpose

As Market Activation Lead, you will oversee the local growth and activation strategy for our Washington, D.C. location. You will act as the face of the brand locally, building strong relationships with members, influencers, partners, and the wider consumer community to serve Neko's objectives. This role combines community management, marketing, events and partnerships to ensure our clinic delivers an exceptional experience, remains top of mind locally, and is widely talked about and recommended, while supporting bookings and retention goals.

What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12 Months

• Establish Neko as a highly visible and trusted presence in Washington, D.C. through strong local awareness and community engagement


• Build and maintain a high-quality network of local influencers, partners, and community stakeholders to drive ongoing word-of-mouth and referrals


• Deliver a consistent pipeline of bookings by leading local growth initiatives and optimising conversion from awareness to appointment


• Launch and run a calendar of events, activations, and partnerships that keep the clinic top of mind locally and drive member bookings


• Develop strong internal ways of working with clinical, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence


• Establish clear reporting and insight into local performance, including bookings, retention, and community engagement metrics

Minimum Qualifications
