Job summary

Elite Workforce LLC is seeking experienced Marine Structural Welders to join our shipyard workforce. The ideal candidate will have proven experience welding structural steel components in a marine or shipyard environment and possess the skills necessary to produce quality welds that meet industry standards.

Candidates must be capable of working safely in demanding shipyard conditions and successfully passing all pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of marine structural welding experience.
Experience in shipyard, marine construction, or heavy industrial welding.
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding safety procedures and fabrication practices.

Responsibilities

Perform structural welding on ship hulls, decks, bulkheads, foundations, and other marine structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, specifications, and work instructions.
Utilize FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding processes as required.
Ensure all welds meet shipyard, customer, and regulatory quality standards.
Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment per safety policies.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, shipfitters, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
