Job summary

Global- a 1st Flagship Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shipyard and maritime operations in the Philadelphia area. The role emphasizes housekeeping, maintenance, preservation, resource planning, and coordinating tasks with other trades to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of naval vessels.

Responsibilities include establishing QA processes, recommending changes to work plans, supervising hull and interior remediation, maintaining government equipment, and completing

Qualifications

• Minimum: 5 years of ship, shipyard or maritime related experience and 3 years supervisory experience.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and be qualified to operate government/company vehicles.
• General computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Must have good knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance and preservation processes for ships and craft.
• Capable of determining resource requirements, resolving technical problems and coordinating tasks with other trade groups.
• Establish QA processes to assess overall quality of work.
• Recommend changes to work plans, methods and resources to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Remediation of shipboard hulls and exterior surfaces.
• Maintaining government furnished equipment.
• Complete all assignments safely and on time.
• Remediation of internal spaces including tanks and voids.
• Prepare performance reports on assigned employees and provide feedback.
• Ensure discipline per company policies.
• Mooring of craft and vessels.
• Monitor upkeep of portable sanitary facilities and smoking areas.
• Assist with planning and supervise movement of ships not under command.
• Focus on safety and strive to zero lost days.
