Job summary

Saronic Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a Porter to safely move materials between sites, transport boats and trailers, and operate forklifts including heavy-capacity units up to 30K. You will load/unload, document handling, and support vendor deliveries while maintaining strict safety standards.

This role requires a valid license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the reliability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts, including large-capacity (30K) forklifts.
• Ability to tow and maneuver boats and trailers safely.
• Knowledge of safe material handling and transportation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials between company sites and designated locations.
• Safely tow and maneuver boats and trailers as required.
• Operate forklifts, including heavy-capacity forklifts (30K), to move and position materials.
• Pick up and deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to and from vendors.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
• Ensure proper handling, securing, and documentation of materials during transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, equipment, and work areas.
• Perform basic inspections of vehicles, forklifts, and trailers to ensure safe operation.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and DOT requirements.
• Support additional material handling and logistics tasks as assigned.
