Qualifications

• Must have completed various NAVSEA modules relevant to fiber optic installation.
• Valid OSHA 10 Maritime Card required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent may be needed based on contract stipulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine fiberoptic tasks under supervision.
• Install/remove fiber optic interconnection box equipment.
• Assist with fiber optic cable and connector testing.

Skills

Familiarity with NAVSEA drawings

Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 pounds

Knowledge of fiber optic installation

Education

High School Diploma or GED

OSHA 10 Maritime Card
