Ideal candidates have shipyard or marine electrical experience, understand shipboard safety practices, and can work in demanding industrial settings. OSHA/Navsea standards apply, and access to local shipyards is required.

Qualifications

• Previous maritime, shipyard electrical experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with shipboard electrical systems and marine environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair marine electrical systems and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Run cable, install lighting, panels, switches, and electrical equipment aboard vessels.
• Test electrical systems and diagnose faults using meters and testing equipment.
• Follow OSHA, NAVSEA, and shipyard safety procedures.
• Work effectively alongside supervisors, tradespeople, and shipyard personnel.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout projects.
