Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead SOCOM-related programs. The role focuses on scoping, planning, and execution across multiple concurrent efforts with close collaboration among Growth, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Software, and Product teams.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on PM experience in defense/technical environments, familiarity with DoD requirements, and the ability to read technical docs and coordinate with engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Naval Architecture, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in program management, preferably defense/technical incl. SOF or SOCOM.
• Familiarity with DoD program requirements, government contracting, PM standards.
• Ability to read technical docs and engage credibly with engineers.
• 3+ years using MS Project, MS Office, Confluence, and Slack for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Scope and schedule SOCOM opportunities with Growth to define defensible plans.
• Support proposals with scope, SOW, basis of estimate, aligned to reality.
• Build work breakdown structures and execution schedules linking growth to engineering.
• Support program execution across initiation to closeout for multiple programs.
• Track schedules, budgets, deliverables, and milestones incl. GFE/CFE.
• Coordinate design, on-water testing, and readiness to meet milestones.
• Maintain configuration and documentation compliance across all phases.
• Serve as cross-functional liaison across Engineering, Production, Quality, Training.
