Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a hands-on Program Manager to own scope, schedules, and execution for SOCOM-focused contracts. This role requires coordinating with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Training to ensure on-time, compliant delivery and readiness across multiple concurrent programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in program management in defense or technical environments, familiarity with DoD requirements, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Naval Architecture, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in program management, preferably in defense/engineering/technical environments.
• Familiarity with DoD program requirements, government contracting, and recognized PM standards.
• Working knowledge of maritime/autonomous systems; ability to read technical docs and engage engineers.
• 3+ years using MS Project, MS Office, Confluence; experience with cross-functional teamwork via Slack.

Responsibilities

• Translate SOCOM opportunities into clear scope and schedules with Growth.
• Support proposals with scope, statements of work, and basis of estimate.
• Build and maintain work breakdown structures and execution schedules linking growth to engineering realities.
• Support program management across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout for multiple programs.
• Track schedules, budgets, requirements, deliverables, and milestones including GFE/CFE; manage risk and compliance.
