Job summary

Avail Staffing is seeking AAMP Certified Spray Painter/BlasterTechnicians (C12 or C14) to join our dynamic team. The role requires shipboard experience, SSPC standards familiarity, and holding SSPC C12/C14 certifications.

Candidates must read specifications, mix and apply epoxy/enamel paints, and perform tasks within set timeframes while adhering to safety protocols. Qualified applicants will have at least two years of shipboard experience and OSHA-10 Maritime Training along with C12/C14 spray

Qualifications

Proficient in mixing and applying epoxy and enamel paints according to specifications.
Ability to read and interpret job specifications to ensure proper completion of tasks.
Capable of completing assigned tasks within specified timeframes without on-site supervision.
Understanding of paint induction times and familiarity with spray painting procedures.
Knowledge of NAVSEA 009-32 standard item requirements.
