Job summary

Cigarette Holdings, LLC is seeking a Marine Forklift Operator - Vessel Movement to safely move and stage high-performance vessels at our Florida facility. You will operate forklifts, assess load conditions, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure safe, efficient vessel handling.

Requirements include forklift certification, OSHA safety compliance, and the ability to work with spotters in busy areas. Prior marine or heavy-load experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts with oversized loads.
• Experience moving boats or marine vessels preferred.
• Current forklift certification required.
• Knowledge of forklift capacity and load stability.

Responsibilities

• Move, position, stage, load, and relocate vessels from 41' to 59'.
• Assess vessel size, weight, balance, and clearance before movement.
• Ensure proper support and protect surfaces during handling.
• Coordinate movements with Production, Facilities, QC, and Service.
• Use spotters and communication procedures in restricted areas.
• Stage vessels for production, inspections, sea trials, and delivery.
