Job summary

Global- a 1st Flagship Company is seeking a Laborer to support Navy-related vessel maintenance and preservation tasks in Bremerton, WA. You will assist in tying up vessels, cleaning piers and decks, and performing surface prep for preservation in a fast-paced shipyard environment.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to travel up to 25%. Prior maritime or general labor experience is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work with a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ties up vessels and cleans piers, decks, hulls, holds, compartments and engine rooms.
• Prepares surfaces for preservation using hand and power tools.
• Applies preservation with brushes and caulking tools.
• Pumps tanks and bilges, installs and connects sump pumps, hoses.
