AAA-USA Inc is seeking a Marine Structural Welder to perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum ship components, reading blueprints and meeting shipyard specs. Must pass a hands-on weld test and work in a fast-paced marine fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aluminum/structural welding experience in shipyards.
• Strong MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) aluminum welding experience.
• Experience with flux core and stick welding in shipyard settings.
• Ability to pass a hands-on weld test.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components for shipbuilding and marine structures.
• Weld plates, frames, bulkheads, and hull components to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and fitting prior to welding.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
