Job summary

TEL Staffing & HR is seeking qualified Full-Time Structural Welders to join our Pensacola port team. You will perform FCAW/SMAW welding with GMAW capability, focusing on fillet and groove joints in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and 4130 materials.

You must pass OIMO tests in FCAW/SMAW, adhere to safety policies, and respond with urgency and accuracy on job assignments. Offshore/inland facilities experience is valued; the role requires strong leadership and strict quality control.

Qualifications

• Able to pass OIMO welding tests consisting of FCAW and SMAW in all required positions.
• Weld a variety of configurations including single-pass/multi-pass fillets and full-penetration joints.
• Interpret welding procedure specifications and essential variables for preheat/interpass temps and filler metals.
• Experience in the marine/shipyard industry is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• May instruct and mentor 2nd class welders and helpers.
• Work with urgency and productive output.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow project safety policies.
• Demonstrate leadership and uphold safety regulations on site.
