Job summary

AAA USA Inc is actively hiring an experienced Marine Shipfitter to support major marine and shipbuilding projects along the Gulf Coast. The 1st Class Ship Fitter fabricates, assembles, and installs structural parts in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and shipyard standards.

Requirements include 3+ years ship fitting or related fabrication, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment. Relocation assistance and benefits are available.

• Cut, align, fit, and tack structural parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

Position Summary:

• Minimum 3+ years of ship fitting or related fabrication experience in a shipyard or heavy industrial setting.
• Ability to read and understand shipyard drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with shipyard safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmental conditions.
