Job summary

Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to supervise process auditors and partner with production, engineering, and supply chain to drive world-class quality. You will own quality plans, analyze defects, and lead root-cause investigations to prevent reoccurrence.

The role focuses on cutting, tube bending, welding, and painting processes for marine tower structures, with emphasis on reducing COPQ and delivering exceptional customer experience through flawless products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 8+ years in a manufacturing quality environment or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA).

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-level quality activities to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Manage all Process Auditors.
• Develop and maintain control plans, inspection standards, and quality documentation.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement CAPA actions.
• Drive continuous improvement via lean/Six Sigma projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Supplier Quality and Production teams.
