Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to a pipefitter Improver and Helper if assigned.
• Comply with OSHA standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Document existing conditions before commencing work.

Skills

Comprehend instructions and drawings

Knowledge of ship repair terminology

Ability to wear required PPE

Experience with P-73 joint fit-up

Knowledge of Silver Brazing theory

Interpret Navy/MSC/ABS standards

Operate and care for tools and equipment

Mathematical skills
