Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in a biological field or laboratory program, or a bachelor's degree in biological sciences.
• Marine mammal stranding-response experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and trailer boats under 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Respond to marine mammal stranding calls as part of the Marine Mammal Section.
• Conduct necropsies on manatees and document findings in reports.
• Assist with rescue and transport operations for marine mammals.
• Support related research projects and field/lab work with necessary equipment.
