Ideal candidates bring experience from fine joinery to bedding and installing marine hardware; prior boatbuilding or marine industry experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Plan, estimate, layout, and complete carpentry projects.
• Repair and install interior boat joinery.
• Understand wooden boat construction and repair techniques.
• Assess quality of woodwork and materials.
• Operate tools, machines, and equipment.
• Assist supervisor with design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Must possess own tools.
• Willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
