Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA seeks an Engineering Services Manager to lead the Marine Engineering Services team in Kennesaw, GA. You will oversee MIC shop support, CAE tools management, and process/compliance functions, ensuring resources align with development goals.

Leading a skilled team, you will forecast budgets, mentor engineers, and collaborate with development leadership to advance MIC maturity and performance while enabling cross-functional success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience managing technical teams.
• Experience in product development and stage gate development approval processes.
• OSHA Maritime Safety, Water/CPR training preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience in workshop/R&D shop environments, 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Services team in MIC shop functions and support development teams.
• Manage resources and tasks of Design Technology Services and CAE tools.
• Oversee Process and Compliance functions within E/S.
• Coordinate department workload and budget forecasting.
• Collaborate with MIC development leadership to achieve objectives.
• Foster learning and training plans.
