A custom yacht building firm in Wanchese, NC is seeking a Marine Electronics Technician to install and maintain advanced marine electronic systems on custom sportfishing vessels. You will work closely with a team to ensure high-quality installations and troubleshooting of systems like radar and GPS. Ideal candidates have experience in marine electronics, knowledge of brands such as Garmin and Raymarine, and technical training in electronics. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Marine Electronics Technician or similar in marine/electrical industries.
Technical training or certification in electronics or marine systems preferred.
ABYC and NMEA certifications are a plus and will be required after hire.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain marine electronic systems.
Design and install NMEA2000 networks in compliance with standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic system issues.
Skills
