Job summary

Everett Ship Repair in Everett, WA is seeking a journeyman electrician to service AC/DC and electronic systems on medium and large vessels. You will interpret drawings, install wiring, test motors, and calibrate controls in a shipyard environment.

Requires 3+ years marine electrical maintenance/repair, high school diploma, and WA driver’s license. We value teamwork, safety, and the ability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan installations from drawings and specs.
  • Install wiring, receptacles, boxes, feeders, and lighting.
  • Test continuity, voltage, current, and resistance.
  • Maintain propulsion-related electrical controls and instrumentation.
  • Diagnose faults in marine electrical/electromechanical systems.
  • Assist with related duties as needed.
