Job summary

H & H Enterprises is seeking entry-level labor with basic carpentry and marine construction experience for work around the water in Hampton Roads. Travel between job sites is required; a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Boat operation is preferred, with on‑the‑job training available. The role starts at $17 per hour with opportunities to grow; benefits begin after 60 days, and a 401(k) is available after one year.

Qualifications

• Entry-level construction and carpentry experience.
• Comfortable working over water.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to travel around Hampton Roads.
• Boat operation experience preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Unload tools, prep materials, stack materials, and set up equipment.
• Safely operate pushboats.
• Follow project instructions from supervisor.
• Direct traffic around the site.
• Use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow health and safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Complete tasks timely and efficiently.
• Assist contractors as needed.
• Clean debris and store tools properly.
