Murphy Family Ventures in Edenton, NC is seeking an experienced cabinetmaker to perform advanced carpentry and woodworking in sportfishing boat production. This hands-on role focuses on precise fabrication and installation of cabinetry and wood components.

Candidates should have at least two years in cabinetry or finish carpentry, with marine woodworking experience preferred. You will read work orders, drawings and specifications, and maintain a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in cabinetry, finish carpentry, woodworking or related skilled trade.
• Experience in marine woodworking, cabinetry repair, and interior joinery is highly beneficial.
• Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate measurement, cutting, fitting, and installation.
• Strong knowledge of marine plywood, hardwoods, veneers, and proper material selection and application.

SUMMARY:
