Qualifications

• Experience in marine, automotive, powersports, diesel, or related mechanical field preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is important.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair boats, motors, and marine systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, steering, and related system concerns.
• Repair and service outboard engines and related components.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to troubleshoot problems.
• Complete warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair work.
• Install marine accessories, electronics, and equipment.
• Inspect boats and identify additional repair or maintenance needs.
• Document repairs, parts needs, diagnostic findings, and work performed accurately.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and additional concerns.
• Follow manufacturer procedures, company processes, and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized work area.
• Perform other duties to support the department and company.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair boats, motors, and marine systems
• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, steering, and related system concerns
• Repair and service outboard engines and related components
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to troubleshoot problems

What We’re Looking For

• Previous marine, automotive, powersports, diesel, small-engine, or related mechanical experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
• Experience with outboard engines is a plus
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned repairs
• Manufacturer certifications or technical training are a plus
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required
