Job summary

Simmons Pet Food is seeking a Marinator Operator to operate the marinator tumbler, mix ingredients, and record data on designated forms while communicating with supervisors and team members. The role supports production through accurate batch handling and adherence to safety procedures.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and the willingness to work in a loud, cold environment. Experience in poultry or food processing is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of prior experience in poultry or food processing.
  • Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 pounds in a cold, noisy environment.
  • Must have strong communication and decision-making skills to work with team and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the marinator tumbler and mix ingredients according to procedures.
  • Set up paperwork and scales before shift; order seasonings and ingredients for daily orders.
  • Track batch times and communicate material needs to support.
  • Record batch temperatures and assist marinating for other lines as needed.
  • Weigh product pieces per batch and document downtime and weights.
