Job summary

Bachoco Group's Fort Smith plant is seeking a Marination Operator for 1st shift (5:00 AM – 2:00 PM). You will set up, marinate, and manage product transfer into marination tanks while maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

This safety-sensitive role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying conditions. We offer weekly incentives, 401K, medical, dental, vision, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required.
• Marinates product by performing marination duties.
• Dumps totes of product into tanks to be marinated.
• Moves marinated product to next stage using hand or powered jack.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area; follow safety protocols.

1st Shift: Further Processing Plant

Dept. 153 - Marination Operator – HEAVY LIFTER

Shift Time: 5:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Pay Rate: $16.50per hour

Responsibilities

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required
• Marinates product by performing the following duties
• Dumps totes of product into tanks to be marinated
• Uses a hand or power jack to bring product to marination from the cooler
• Takes out trash and dirty totes and lids. and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 POUNDS.

This is a safety sensitive position.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
