Job summary

Port 32/Acme Marinas, LLC in Marco Island, FL is seeking an experienced marina forklift operator. Prior marina experience is REQUIRED. The operator moves vessels for haul and launch, handles storage, and inspects equipment.

You will maintain equipment, support ground maintenance, and contribute to keeping the marina in Class A condition. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Marina experience is REQUIRED.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, including marine forklifts.
• Move vessels for haul, launch, and storage.
• Move vessels to designated work areas, storage or sales zones.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to meet safety standards.
• Assist with marina grounds maintenance and cleanliness.
• Maneuver vessels safely from barn storage to water/work racks and back.

Headquartered in Charleston, SC, Port 32/Acme Marinas, LLC is a leading owner/operator of Class A coastal marina assets in premier markets. We are driven by a desire to elevate the recreational boating experience.

We are looking for an experienced marina forklift operator for our Marco Island, Florida marina. Prior Marina experience is REQUIRED.

The Equipment/Forklift Operator is responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work, storage, or sales. This position is also required to inspect, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to marine forklifts
• Operate machinery efficiently, effectively and demonstrate safe handling of vessels
• Use equipment to move vessels in and out of the water, to designated workspace, storage or sales areas
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure operational and acceptable industry standards
• Assist with ground maintenance and ensure overall marina cleanliness are maintained as a Class A facility.
• Maneuver member vessels in a safe and timely manner from barn storage to water/work racks and retrieve vessels from water/work racks, and place them back into storage
