Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a Marathi teacher for a Chicago client (60647). The engagement is freelance, part-time and involves home-based lessons: two-hour sessions every other week for a 24-hour course, starting ASAP.

Ideal candidates are native Marathi speakers or hold a teaching degree, with experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter. A valid working visa and residence within 20 miles of the client are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world.Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a Marathi teacher.
Some details about the course:

• One of our clients in Chicago would like to have TWO-to-one GENERAL Marathi classes.
• These students wish to have classes at their home in Chicago, 60647. They would like to have a 24-hour course. Classes of two hours should be held once every other week, and they wish to start asap.
• Current language level: Beginner.
• Motivation: His grandma was born and raised in Nasik, Maharashtra. He wants to learn a language with his son which is similar to Gujarati. Learning Marathi with him will help him achieve both goals.
• Student's age group: father and son (son's age TBC)

Ideal teacher should:

• Be a native Marathispeaker OR hold a teaching degree
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid working visa
• Live up to 20 miles from the client´slocation.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
