Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer - Welding is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for supporting and optimizing welding operations across the facility. This position drives production efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the welding department. You will be involved in weld fixture design, process development, programming, and equipment specification, supporting MIG, TIG, spot, and flash welding. This role collaborates with tube fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless production flow. The engineer identifies and resolves quality and process challenges, analyzes production issues, and implements innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement welding processes, systems, and tooling
  • Engineer and procure weld fixtures to improve productivity and consistency
  • Evaluate and improve existing welding processes through documentation and optimization
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues on the production floor
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency of both labor and workspace
  • Provide hands-on support to production and maintenance teams, including machine setup and in-process inspection
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams, including Sales and Project Management, supporting customer visits and technical discussions

Qualifications
