Job summary

FINFROCK is hiring a Manufacturing Welder in Orlando. The role involves fabricating, fitting, and welding assemblies to meet project specs, with safety and quality at the forefront. You will operate welding equipment, inspect finished work, and work closely with supervisors and QC to reach production goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 3G welding certification.
• Able to climb ladders safely and without fear of heights.
• Experience with PPE and OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and weld assemblies to meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for compliance with standards.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, cranes, forklifts and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare materials by measuring and cutting as needed for fabrication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and QC to meet production goals.
• Identify fabrication or quality issues before materials move to the next stage.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and weld assemblies to meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, overhead cranes, forklifts, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all OSHA and company safety policies.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality control personnel, and fellow team members to meet production goals.
• Identify and communicate fabrication or quality issues before materials move to the next production stage.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• You have a 3G welding certification
• You can climb ladders easily and safely
• You do not have a fear of heights
• You have safety experience including the use of personal protective equipment
• You are able to safely lift 50 lbs. at any given time during the shift
