Job summary

Aquarius Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer in the United States (KY region) to deliver established training programs in manufacturing or engineering processes. You will monitor training effectiveness and ensure adherence to standard concepts and procedures.

This role may involve additional duties as assigned, and requires the ability to present information clearly to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly present information and answer questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows-based operating systems and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of relevant software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and interpret visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and understand short instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.

What you will be doing as the Manufacturing Trainer:

• Conducts established training programs in manufacturing or engineering processes.


• Monitors training effectiveness via established evaluation techniques.


• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.


• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you will need as the Manufacturing Trainer:

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.


• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.


• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.


• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.


• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.


• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.


• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
