Job summary

BioTalent in California is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to build and sustain GMP training programs across Upstream, Downstream, and Formulation, delivering classroom, virtual, and hands-on sessions on the manufacturing floor.

You will conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT), onboard new hires, develop SOP-based materials, track metrics, and collaborate with SMEs, QA, L&D, and HR to maintain a strong GMP culture.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
• 1–3+ years GMP manufacturing or technical training experience.
• Experience in Upstream, Downstream, or Formulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training in a GMP manufacturing environment (Upstream, Downstream, Formulation).
• Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) and employee qualifications.
• Support new-hire onboarding and competency development.
• Develop and update SOP-based training materials, assessments, checklists, and job aids.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure GMP, GDP, and ALCOA+ compliance.

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Trainer to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations across Upstream, Downstream, and Formulation.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands‑on training in a GMP manufacturing environment

What we’re looking for:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline
• 1–3+ years of GMP manufacturing or technical training experience
• Experience in Upstream, Downstream, or Formulation is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and ALCOA+
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or qualifying employees
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable working hands‑on in a fast‑paced GMP manufacturing environment
