Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in Chillicothe, Ohio, is seeking an Manufacturing Technician for the overnight shift (10:30pm–7:00am). You will run equipment safely, perform scale calibrations, washing, loading tanks, and maintain housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience, strong computer skills, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Able to read/interpret SOPs and safety instructions.
• Strong computer skills for monitoring equipment and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Run equipment safely and efficiently: pumps, agitators, shakers, scales.
• Load/charge tanks (5–500 gallons); perform cleaning of equipment.
• Label, document, and ensure compliance with DOT requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping; perform routine maintenance and audits.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; stand 8 hours; climb stairs; follow SOPs.
