Where You Make a Difference

  • Check the production calendar and prepare the appropriate manufacturing and quality control records for scheduled media.

  • Prepare manufacturing records and verify auto-calculated lot numbers, ingredient quantities, and mixing volumes.

  • Measure, prepare, add, and mix ingredients in the specified order according to work instructions, documenting each manufacturing step accurately.

  • Operate equipment used to prepare anaerobic culture media, including autoclaves, boilers, stir/hot plates, reactors and reactor controllers, water baths, pH meters, and measuring scales.

  • Return components to storage and clean mixing equipment, cans, counters, and production areas according to established procedures.

  • Follow sterile technique, safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and applicable quality and regulatory requirements, including ISO and GMP practices.

  • Escalate complex production or materials issues to the Operations Manager and support other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Technological proficiency to perform NetSuite or other ERP tasks related to inventory, purchasing, and materials management.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with sound judgment about when to escalate issues.

  • Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with supervisors, co-workers, management, and Quality Control.

  • Ability to stand for up to approximately two hours at a time, perform moderate lifting of 15-35 pounds, and move wheeled equipment or supply containers weighing up to approximately 100 pounds.
