Leonardo DRS Land Systems in West Plains, MO is seeking a Technician II Manufacturing to provide technical support to engineers and scientists on complex components, devices, and assemblies, with a focus on quality inspections and continuous improvement in our fabrication facility.

The role requires reading wiring and electrical diagrams, using inspection tools including CMM and laser devices, and collaborating across departments to meet production goals while maintaining safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
• Experience in the safe handling of chemicals.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• NDT and/or weld certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on weldments, machined components, assemblies and subassemblies.
• Utilize inspection tools; may use CMM, gage arms, and laser devices.
• Assist in documentation, containment, and disposition of discrepant product.
• Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on components and equipment.
• Coordinate testing, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate repairs on electromechanical systems.
